Mike Wessler wrote a book last year (pub'd in October) for Sams Publishing, entitled "Oracle DBA on Linux And Unix" which is an excellent read. He talks about not only installing Oracle but how it works on Linux & Unix with no real programming. I'm on my third time readingthrough the book and really like it.
You can get it online or at Borders Books.
The Technical Editor/Technical Reviewer is an absolute Genius, too! <grin>
