Oracle vi perl: ORA-00020

I'm using the DBI module to connect the oracle DB vi perl. After running the page for few times I'm getting the following error: ORA-00020: maximum number of processes () exceeded

I looked at the init.ora file &" the proccesses R declired to 100. What is wrong?
