Sorry, but I still don't understand...

 because if I first connect as Internal, it is ok (means create table, update, delete records etc. are fine). But once I type the command to connect as system/manager, the message comes out.

Also, want to confirm one thing here:
Is the sys and system accounts only available when the database is at the open stage? (that means, it is impossible to connect as system when in shutdown/nomount/mount stage?).

If that is the case, the Internal account is the only gateway to startup/shutdown instances (if we don't opt for OS authentication)?

How true is this?
