time data type

Greetings,

        I am trying to create a table with a field that should contain a time but no sucess so far !!!

create table x (y TIME(0));

Can anybody tell me how this should be done (BTW I am using oracle on NT box).

Thanks a lot.

ps. Would greatly appreciate any reference to a good web page on oracle sql.
