The requirements for MTS are not a restriction of ADO, but of MS DTC (Distributed Transaction Coordinator). You specifically need the 7.3.4 client software with version 7.3.3.5.2 of XA73.DLL. The 7.3.4 client install on the 7.3.4.3 Oracle CD installs the 7.3.2 XA73.DLL, which will not work. To corrrect the problem, download NTR73352.EXE and extract the files; then copy the correct version of the DLL to the Oracle BIN directory.
