I have a Personal Oracle7 installed in my PC and has been using it for quite sometime without any problem. However I tried to open it one time and I got the error message below. I tried to make several changes in the initorcl.ora file but I'm still getting the same message. I don't have any back-up of my database and when I tried doing an automatic backup, I'm getting a message to open the database in NORESETLOGS or RESETLOGS option (how?).

Thanks for any helpful suggestion.
