D3 OSFI link to Oracle - anyone?

Does anyone have any experiences - good or bad - with the D3 to Oracle OSFI link?

We finally got our 'ap' executable re-compiled and re-linked. We are now able to see and update Oracle tables.

Is this link solid enough to support mission critical applications?

Here are our platforms:
  IBM RS6000 - AIX 4.2.5 - D3 7.1
  Sun E4000 - Solaris 2.6 - Oracle 7.3

We will be moving to Oracle 8 in the near future. Has anyone tested this link with the new release?
