SQL*Loader for Oracle 8.0.5

Is SQL*Loader 7.3.2.3.1 good for Oracle 8.0.5? I can not load data to my Oracle 8 database by SQL*Loader 7.3.2.3.1 in my PC. However, the same control file and data file are good for Oracle 7.3.3.
