Web Security and access to Oracle databases

We are thinking of designing web front ends to our oracle 7 databases. These will provide our users with easy access and mean less updates and maintenance issues on client machines. However we want this to be a secure system and only privileged users to have access to the data. Can anyone recommend any books or other sources of information for this purpose.
