Apologies for cross-posting; don't want to miss anyone.

INTERACTIVE PROGRAMMER (CGI, database)

Merchant Interactive Corporation <http://eMerchant.com> has an opening for a skilled and creative interactive programmer.

Prepare and intall custom interactivity coding for web sites. We do a lot of CGI scripting and integrating databases with web sites, so proficiency in this area, specifically with perl and SQL in the unix environment, is required. Prefer experience with other personal and professional database packages (MS Access, Filemaker Pro, Oracle, Sybase). Expertise with any of the following a plus: Cold Fusion, Lasso, unix and/or NT system administration, Apache, Netscape and/or Microsoft server management. Must be pro-active in learning new skills and devising creative new solutions for our clients. Reports to Technical Director. Compensation commensurate with experience.
