MA****Sr. Director: Head of Technical Documentation &Training / RDBMS Company**** Massachusetts Permanent Opening

I have a permanent opening for an experienced Director / Manager for the Technical Documentation and Training group. This is a hands-on position leading a staff of several technical documentation, writers and trainers; it is a permanent position based in Cambridge. The company is a leader in developing middleware technology-based software and a strong player in the relational DBMS market. They produce an advanced relational database system and application development environment for a variety of hardware and operating environments, including client/server hardware platforms which operate in a distributed database.

Mandatory Requirements include:

           Supervisory experiences required
	6+ years technical writing / training experiences (to software programmers as audiences)
           Exposure to Operating Systems/Programming Languages
           Exposure to UNIX environments
           BS, BA  or advanced degree required
           U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident required.

Optional Requirements:
      Familiarity with database environments
      Familiarity with C/C++/UNIX
      Experiences with HTML, Netscape.
