One of my clients, a software development company specializing in high-level system consulting, has several permanent openings for Senior INformix SW Engineers/Administrators/ and DBA’s. The company is based in Massachusetts, but the individuals can work remotely.
The company will provide intensive DBA training . The role requires the individual to help the company’s clients migrate to new Informix database environments. This includes installation, initial administration, conversion from existing environment, etc.
Requirements
Extensive working knowledge of any relational database (at a systems level)
Extensive UNIX experiences
U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident
Excellent starting salary and a full, comprehensive, benefits package.
Up to 50% travel is required. Position is based in Massachusetts; but individual can work from a remote home-based office if desired.
