Duties



•Under the direction of Manager of Information Technology Advancement, will serve as a Data Administrator. •Responsibilities include overall planning, control, management, and use of data resources to support business objectives.
•Will work with the Data Administration team to provide the following: •Coordinate the design of data architectures to minimize redundancy and maximize the compatibility of data among data stores. •Design logical database models using normalization techniques. •Provide assistance to programmer/ analysts in the design of data structures and assure their compliance with standards. •Establish standards, procedures, and training for the effective utilization of data resources.
•Maintain a data dictionary to support the enterprise data structures, as well as approve changes to the data dictionary.

Requirements


•5-10 years experience in Information Systems.
•3-5 years data administration and data dictionary experience.
•1-3 years experience with the Oracle tools (Designer/Developer 2000,
SQL Plus, and other processes).
•Experience in application development and systems maintenance in a database environment.
•Experience with structured analysis, design, and programming. •Demonstrate ability to produce reliable results with minimum supervision.
•Demonstrate ability to communicate and understand customer needs.
•Must be able to communicate well in both oral and written forms.
•Be able to work in a team environment to reach a common goal.
•Have a Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or related fields.
