The questions I'm asked in interviews are, for me, curiously undemanding.
Like:
What functions have you performed under Oracle/SQL?
What DBA functions have you done?
Written Forms? Reports? Anything else? (In my case, I noted my lack of Financials experience, but was then prompted for any work in utilities like SQL*Loader
The coup-de-grace seems to be my success at understanding and using
PL/SQL cursors and procedural tasks, as well as integrating them with
unix/cron scripts. Anyway, I'll be the first to admit that there's a
lot of Oracle that I don't yet know, and yet I'm still getting many
interviews and a few solid offers.
