My company has a big problem in that we have to manage data from different clients using just one interface. The result has been having to code a new data entry screen for each new client. This gets tedious and very unmanageable. What we'd like to do is to use a C program or something to read the parameters, validation, field layout, etc., from a table and then create from that a screen - essentially creating an FMB file outside of Developer 2000. Is such a thing possible?

I know that part of what I'm asking could be fulfilled by Designer 2000, but we don't have the budget for such a tool or even any other CASE tool. Has anyone ever coded such a file that was in turn readable by the Forms 4.5 Designer tool? If so, I'd like some info. Received on Sun Feb 16 1997 - 00:00:00 CET
