What he means is that **oraperl*** is dead, Note the lower case.

The **Oraperl** .pm that provides a oraperl superset interface to the DBI/DBD:oracle modules is very much alive and kicking.

The two interfaces look and feel (almost) identical the technologies are rather different.. Oraperl is far better software and is definitely "fun to be with" :-)

For instance, we use it to create 50,000 reports in a four day period and to create reports of over 3000 pages.

Tim Bunce (Mr DBD::Oracle) has no plans to port DBI/DBD::Oracle to NT. Of course if someone is desperate enough to PAY... :-)

Of course you could always install SCO Oracle under linix and connect via SQL*Net to oracle on the NT box...
