I was doing a port from progress to oracle and progress had this converter program that bulds a huge .sql file to build the entire schema for oracle. I dont know if this converter had a bug or if it was oracle but the curses were not getting released between sql statements and I ended up increasing the MAX_CURSES parameter to 2000. But when told somebody from oracle about it, he almost had a fit....
