I would use JCS (Job Scheduling System). This is a tool by a firm called Redwood that schedules jobs and you can 'submit' a job from within any PL/SQL body to be scheduled immediately. The job can contain any OS-command as well as PL/SQL. But of course: No JCS, no solution from me... Received on Fri Oct 11 1996 - 00:00:00 CEST
