Hi everyone.

I was finishing up an installation of Oracle7 on a Sun SPARC running Solaris, and ran into a few problems. Any advice, no matter how obvious it may seem, is appreciated. :)

  1. It's a fair question. I am logged on as root when I try to run the root.sh script. Any more ideas?

2) When using the documentation found in Oracle Book, there are some documents in the bookshelves that the link isn't finding. There appears to be a naming problem. Has anyone else had this problem? How can it be fixed?

3) When I attempt to run SQL menu for Motif, I get a segmentation fault.

I hope none of these questions sound too dumb. I admit to being a newbie. Thanks in advance for your help. All responses can be sent to me at pjbell_at_umr.edu.
