Alisha,
I am not on NT but Windows3.11 client but the steps to conf. should be
the same. I just configured SQL*NET2.
Try following :
1. run network manager to configure sql*net
that will create tnsnames.ora , sqlnet.ora, listener.ora files
2. make sure you copy this files to /orawin???/network/admin directory
3. make sure your server is configured for tnslsnr ( you will need
listener.ora, sqlnet.ora , lsnrctl, /etc/services entry for tnslsnr ) 4. if you still can not connect , make note of ORA or TNS error
message and come back for help here
Good Luck
Halina
