Bill,

Any thoughts of running ORACLE on UNIX? ORACLE on UNIX with over 100 GB of data in a real production environment is a proven technology not a paperware. Example: NCR5100, SP2/AIX. Window NT, whys? With its relatively "im-maturity", you will have to experience its growing pain. And please, keep in mind that Window NT is NOT an open system. So, to me choosing Window NT is like choosing another IBM-equivalent OS, a proprietary OS. If that is the case, I would rather stick with DB2/MVS a proving technology.

-Ted.
