I've now been successful in writing DDE code with WordPerfect Macro commands to send data from Forms45 to Wp6.1. It works well. Thanks for your input. Oracle support (Toronto) sent me a technical write-up which was very helpful.

What would be the advantage of OLE over DDE if I could invoke a specific document? We seem to be able to link to WordPerfect and then call up a document but not to bring up WP AND the document directly from the OLE container.
