Trouble closing all forms at once....

I was using the Developer/2000 demo to test three small forms and with one exit button, I was able to close all three forms without any difficult.

Now, we have a commerial Developer/2000 release 1.2.1 for Windows.

I've developed 3 large forms. I wanted to use the fourth form as a welcome screen and make this a background window. This welcome form ties to other three forms and automatically executes the main form while the other two forms remain hidden. This main form has a single exit button. This exit button should close all the forms and then exit.

But with this new release, it appeared that it close one form at a time and stopped at each form waiting for user to take action.

I tried a few different approaches, for example using the global variable but I get this error message saying that this global variable does not exist if use it in pre-block or pre-form trigger.

What I'm looking for is an easy (I hope) way to close all forms in a single click on the exit button. Does anyone like to share their "exit" methods along with some codes or description how it can be accomplished. After three months on the Oracle Developer/2000, I think I'm a pretty good application builder now.

Email would be nice, posting here is fine as well. Thanks for any help!

-Robert
