Oracle Parallel server

We are in the process of evaluating High availability options. We have all our applications developed using Forms3.0. We have Oracle Ver 7.1.4 running on an NCR 3550. We are also looking at Oracle Parallel Server option. I would be pleased to hear from anyone using Parallel Server, with reference to configuration of shared disk resources in order to minimise Disk contention as the bottle neck.
