From a call logged with Oracle support! Discussed with Ken Valerie at Redwood Shores (We've got
silver out of hours support from the UK) re. Designer/2000 NT 1.3 requirements.
This is documented in the Designer/2000 installation guide as needing Oracle7 server v7.2.2. He said 7.3 is the next version of Oracle7 server shipped for VMS after the current 7.1.15. He also said the requirement of server v7.2.2 also applies to Developer/2000, so we would therefore need to wait till the end of the year for Server v7.3. to use both Designer/2000 AND Developer/2000.
I would be grateful if this confusing situation could be clarified! Many thanks,
