ops$ logins from both secure and nonsecure clients with same username

What about the same user that connects from both secure and non secure platforms at different times. Can the ops$ (when set to null) handle
that so that it does not ask for a password from unix but does from windows?
How do you define the password in that case (only one Oracle username
for
both secure and nonsecure clients).
