Try granting the neccesary previledges to the user's OP$ account in Oracle.

I'm having trouble running Pro*C applications as a user other than "oracle".
I get the error ora-1034 and ora-3114 when I try to connect from a embedded
SQL/C program when the program is run as a user other than oracle. When I run
the program after logging in as oracle, the connect succeeds. I have a
feeling that there might be an installation/configuration problem here
e.g. mode bits, suid etc. The platform in Sparc/Solaris 2.5 running Oracle
7.1.3. Can anyone point me to a solution?
