How do you load gif into Oracle DB?

I have a table that came from Access that needs to be loaded onto Oracle. This table has 10 columns and about 40,000 rows. And one of the column contains the gif file name, but this needs to be changed to actual gif file itself. I am currently using Oracle7.3 on WindowsNT platform. Has anyone done this?? I've called Oracle tech support, but I am not getting really good answer..
Please let me know how I can do this..
