Novell / Oracle Server Crash

We have inherited a Novell server running 3.12 and Oracle database server software, with several Windows 3.11 clients running only 1 application, an order entry system using the Oracle database. The problem is it crashes ALL THE TIME, sometimes several times a day, with the following message:
ERROR:
General Protection Processor Fault
Running process: Interupt service routine
Interupted process: Polling process
I installed EtherVision from Triticom to monitor packet activity, hoping to catch a wayward workstation just before a system crash. The result, no CRC errors at all, none too small, none too large, nothing. Everything normal then bang...dead!
Does anyone know if this would most likely be a server problem or a workstation/client problem, a Novell problem, or a Oracle problem???. I know this is a broad question, but I have no idea where to start. The "expert" from the City of Phoenix say's it's a NIC problem ( the system came with WDC8xxx cards ), but that should have shown up on the EtherVision monitor.
Thank you in advance.
