Re: Sql*Net Versions for Mac

I upgraded a PowerMac client to SQL*Net 2.1.4.0.2 from 2.0 and now I endure 30-40 second connect times. Version 2.0 worked great...roughly 3-5 seconds to connect. No other setups were changed on the server, and the same .ORA files were carried forward on the client for the new version. Oracle Support was unable to resolve this problem and suggested I try using a different TCP stack for Mac other than MacTCP. I wonder how this would resolve my problem if SQLNet 2.0 worked fine under the same environment. Received on Fri Jun 14 1996 - 00:00:00 CEST
