This is really a shame.
I have worked with some people in Tulsa who have told me how difficult it is to get help/sales assistance from Oracle.
I think it might be sign of the area in which you live. I'm from Calgary, Alberta and get my Oracle tech support from Toronto. Those guys are sometimes hard to reach, but when I reach them, they've always come through. Even my pre-sales guys here is Calgary have gone above and beyond for me and I'm really greatfull.
(The company I work for is only 20 staff members in total, 3 of which are technical. 1 Sys Admin, 1 Net Admin and myself, Oracle DBA/Developer - really small).
