I'm new a this group so I'm sorry if this subject
is a repeat.
I'm currently working with the Oracle utilities
(UTLBSTAT.sql and UTLESTAT.sql) to produce
performance monitoring information.
I currently have Oracle bulletin# 100955.451
which is a detail document using these utilities.
The problem is that this document is for Oracle
version 6 not version 7.
I call Oracle to see if they had an update,
and guess what, they don't. I found some more
current information from an Oracle class
workbook. The class was Tuning and Troubleshooting
the Oracle 7 Database. This was real helpful and had more
up-to-date descriptions about using the BSTAT and ESTAT
utilities.
I was wondering if anybody knows where I can find more
information about using Oracle's BSTAT and ESTAT utilities.
