 Ha Ha Ha Ha Oracle!!!

Ha Ha Ha Ha Again Oracle.

Does not suprise me - Oracle REALLY ANNOYS ME with this crap.

Us Informix prople would never stoop that low.

I agree totally no wonder that Oracle has such are market share if   they confuse customers. If they do that in the open on the net,   what do they do in closed rooms with prospective customers.....

At my last company I worked with Oracle,Sybase,Ingres and Informix.   Givien that Oracle has such a large market share I was considering   spending my free time learning more Oracle for my CV.

  After

  1. hearing similar stories
  2. realising that Oracle is not 100% parallel like Informix but merely an add-on i.e. they did not have the guts to rewrite their server like Informix did.

I decided to spent my free time going on Informix courses... mainly to   get the course certificates for my Cv. I'd rather spend ~2000 pounds   of my own money on Informix courses to improve my CV then spent   nothing learning Oracle.

  Nuf said really.

PS I've moved jobs to a company that only uses Informix..

PPS If Oracle would rewrite their server to be 100% parallel and start   putting out really comparative benhmarks then I may reconsider...Not.
