I know that the complete refresh should be allowed. I have a simple snapshot with a snapshot log on the source. I rebuilt the snapshot via import, and it gets marked as invalid. I posted this question before I found out the answer: the MLINK column in sys.snap$ gets nulled out. I fixed that and the snapshot worked like a charm. Thanks for getting back to me.
