Any hope for WG 7.1 with Windows 95?

Hi there.

My setup:

- Windows 95
- Netware 4.1 server
- Oracle Workgroup server 7.1 for  NetWare
- SQL*Net 2.1
- Delphi 1.02 C/S + SQL-Links for Oracle.

The problem is that making a connection to our server with this setup takes about 90 sec. This happens with every Oracle program, e.g. Object Manager etc.

I have understood that the problem is with SQL*Net 2.1 and Win95 not co-operating properly. Well, I downloaded PO for Win95 and installed SQL*Net 2.2 from the distribution. But the Oracle programs don't seem to be able to use it to connect to the server. The new SQL*Plus that came with PO works fine and connections are fast.

But, do I have any hope for getting the Oracle programs to connect fast with SQL*Net 2.1? And if not, can I use SQL*Net 2.2 with them? I guess the problem lies with the fact that version 2.2 is 32-bit and 2.1 is 16-bit right?

Also, I need to get Delphi to connect to our server. It also has this annoying 90 sec delay in connecting.
