Why slow connections to WG 7.1?

Hi there.

I have now succesfully installed Oracle WG 7.1 for our NW 4.1 server. Now I'm learning to use the user manager and database manager programs in my Win95-workstation.

However, connection to database as system takes about 30 secs and also disconnecting takes at least 30 secs.

Where can I start to solve this problem? I guess the connection should be faster than that? When I have the connection, then it works just fine, making the users etc. Just the connect/disconnect is irritatingly slow...

Any manuals, where I should look?
