Our site is going to use Sybase on Alpha machines and a TZ877/810 tape drive (tape juke box). Now, we find out that Sybase Backup Server cannot drive the tape drive (at least it cannot change the tape). However, we have a huge volume of data (~36G). Does anybody have similar experiences on this issue? Also, I bet there are products that can handle the database backup. Could anybody get me some suggestions.
