Well sure storage is the key. But let's not say that this is a 21 TB warehouse. Informix's crown jewel of a 4TB data warehouse with users running extensive queries .... it's actually 1TB of data with many many mirrors. DASD is cheap, mirroring my DW is a lot cheaper than stressing out my DBAs in having to perform restores etc. when a client's decision is on the line. Received on Mon Apr 29 1996 - 00:00:00 CEST
