We are running our Order Entry system on a Sun PDB cluster here at fingerhut and have been since last August. Currently we are running in the 'hot standby' mode where all 1500 online user connections are connected via SQL*NET to one node. We are working on a redesign of our application to take advantage of the other node.
One warning about OPS, Don't beleive that you can run any application that runs on a single machine on a cluster. In most cases a major application redesign is necessary. OPS clusters work best if all access to a given set of data is though one node and access to another set of data is through the other node.
