Greetings,
I am having major problems implementing SQLnet on WIN95.
I have installed the network manager, and am now trying to start the listener so I can get my client app to connect to my sun server. The server is currently configured to accept connection using tns:<instance_name>. That works fine using sqlplus name/passwd:tns:test. Now that I have configured the client side of things, when I try to start the listener process on WIN 95, I get these error messages:
TNS-12545: Connect failed because target host or object does
not exist
TNS-12560: TNS:protocol adapter error
TNS-00515: Connect failed because target host or object does
not exist
MSWINDOWS Error: 4:Unknown system error
I have given the automatic setup what I thought was appropriate info.
Any and all info recieved will be greatly appreciated.
Best regards,
