Hi,

In article <Do7vBr.76B_at_cix.compulink.co.uk>, Leslie Pendlebury Bo <elbowe_at_cix.compulink.co.uk> wrote:

We had the same question some time ago. We tried Exceed on a Pentium-90 with 32 MB Ram and the performance was ok. But after that, I installed a 486-66 with 24 MB with Linux and XFree-86 and got a even better performance under X. So, if you are familiar with UNIX-Installation ad man-Pages, this could be a good solution. (And the price is much better :-))

Oh, and this solution seems to run very stable. (until now only 1 crash in the last 6 months) The Windows-Emulation tends to crash several times a day. And a running query in the server-manager does not block the entire PC.

Bye

Harry
