V6 - Drop rollback segments - recreate... data corruption

I experience a couple of semi-usual problems (ie snapshot too old and maxed out on rollback extents). I shutdown the DB, activated a system rollback segment, cycled, dropped the rollback tablespace w/ contents, created new larger tablespace, created new larger and more rollbacj segments, shutdown DB, made new segments actice, cycled. I now get ORA-1578 data block corrupted.
