I need some advice. The company I work for wants to run the Oracle Web System 1.0 on a Sparc10 running solaris 2.4 which for all intents and purposes is just great. But, this machine is also running the Apache Web server supporting 10+ virtual hosts. My question is, will this greatly diminish the Oracle performance? Should the Oracle Web System ideally be running on it's own server or will the above situation work provided there is enough swap memory on the Sparc 10?
Any words of wisdom will be greatly appreciated!
Thanks,
leslie
