Unless you have the need for a >2TB database now then the restrict of 2GB UFS files is not a problem. Even so, Sun & Oracle just demo'ed a 5GB database at a conference in Japan recently. The version of Oracle used v7.3.1 allows for support of 8GB files in 32GB raw partitions so this really should be an issue to anyone.
