I am doing an analysis of an old DOS system that was written around 1990 and does not have adequate screen or database needs...I want to re-write it and possibly copywrite and sell it...my issue is what is the best database and platform to put this on...is dbase4 better than foxpro or access....is there a database compatible with COBOL that I can write it in...what about networking, multi threading capability and upward compatibility with minis and mainframes...Should I just use Oracle or SQL with COBOL...what is the most efficient...is foxpro better than delphi...please comment...Jim   Received on Sat Feb 03 1996 - 00:00:00 CET
