Hi,

I think you better go with the 2nd choice. Because once you upgrade CASE 5.0 to DES/2k, you cant access your 5.0 dictionary. Many packages are dropped and replaced during the upgrade.

We've managed to copy our CASE5.1.8 to 7.1.6 new instance and upgraded to Des/2k. We faced some problems but all of our old apps. got upgraded to the new des/2k.
