Yes I have successfully installed 7.0.16 under Openserver release 5.  Actually the installation using the "installpkg" was a lot easier than  installing 7.1.6.2 using the Oracle installer. If you follow the directions  in the "Oracle Installation and User's Guide" it is fairly easy.

 Just remember to tweak the kernel paramaters for  "shared memory, semaphores, ulimit, before even starting  the install. The use installpkg as root. Then finish the install  as the Oracle owner.

 Oracle's new install procedure is awfull compared to the old  installpkg that was used for versions 6.0.36 and 7.0.
