My current client is using SymRep in limited production. We have a three-site master where all the updates are happening on one master and replicated to two remote masters over WAN.

After a few hickups and bugs (if you are running 7.1.6, call Oracle Support and get the NASDAQ SymRep patch before doing anything else), we've got it working pretty well. We push deferred tx's every half hour from main master to the remote masters.
