2gig drives. Yes, it doesn't fit. Our current production db is
10g total, but back then it was only about 2 gig. The 2 gig
across 4 disks (700K per disk) was giving write times > 300 ms
without much load. We now have 10gig over 10 disks and
are still getting about 60ms writes, but there still isn't
full load yet.
