Unfortunately the Oracle Install program for Developer 2000 and PO7W95 are not compatable. For best results you should install Developer 2000 first. Use the ORAINST that comes with it.

After installing Developer 2000, Install PO7W95 using the ORAINST that comes with it. The order is important as the PO7W95 install will look for existing 16 bit Oracle apps ( such as Developer 2000) and load special dll's to allow these to work.

If you are using disk compression, PO7W95 beta will not allow the database to be stored on a compressed disk. You can still use disk compression by installing the software to the compressed disk and the databse to uncompressed ( host or other disk ). If you attempt to install the everything to a compressed disk, the install will prompt you for an uncompressed location to place the database in.

Forms 4.5 works pretty well with PO7W95. There are a few bugs but you should be able to work around most. Received on Wed Oct 25 1995 - 00:00:00 CET
